Colors are vivid and bright. Works well in rooms even with a little light bleed. Has a relatively short throw distance compared to some other projectors and depending how large you want the image. I used a standard 100" Screen at about 13 feet and the image was too big to fit on the screen and I had no option to move it closer so I may need a new screen. But, the image quality looks good even at further distances and the response times were great with minimal ghosting and rainbow screen effect. The menu is a bit clunky and doesn't have a lot of options to adjust the picture beside your basic functions. Kinda bummed its not a smart projector and they charge another $100 for that adapter which also takes up a port. There are a limited amount of ports, so if you want other things plugged in at the same time you may be in a pickle. It would be inconvenient to climb up to change them out frequently depending on your use cases. It does seem well built and sturdy and doesn't produce a ton of noise, its audible at close distances but for most I'd think it be fine.
