Posted .We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that this model didn't provide you a function you had hoped for. We do offer 2TB versions of many of our systems, including yours. If you are still within the return window you should be able to replace the recorder with a 2TB version and return the remaining components and 1TB recorder without reinstalling everything and get the added storage you are seeking.

Q: QuestionI have a Night Owl model AHD7-DVR8 2TB 8 Channel H.265 DVR w/2 TB Hd and it died. Will the existing hardwired cameras work with this model?

- A:Answer No, your cameras and cables are not compatible. A 4K system requires the use of 4K cables and your current cameras will not work with the DVR.

Q: QuestionI have a Samsung Wisenet 8 channel system. My Dvr went out. Dvr-btd8-81 sdh-b74081n. Looking at your compatibility chart.it looks like the Night Owl will work. I just wanted to double check. Thank you in advance Beth889

Q: QuestionMy DVR went black and doesn't work, just died. I called customer service and was told that it needs to be replaced. Do you know if this DVR is compatible to the DVR-HDA30B-162-RS? I don't want to replace the wired cameras. Thanks!
