I unfortunately purchased this laptop for work in December 2021. In Feb 2022, I was making an appointment with geek squad due to the computer shutting down on me in the middle of work. Geek squad claimed their were no issues. And returned it back to me. Currently today March 24 2022 this laptop shut down on me in the middle of a meeting and stuck at a screen that states System BIOS is being recovered. For over an hour now. Best Buy’s 15 day return policy is terrible. Customers are not aware of these malfunctions when they are buying these laptops. Even when you are proactive and purchase Geek Squad, you’re told nothing is wrong when in fact you know there’s an issue. Customers should not have to pay extra to become a member so that they can get that extended return. Geek squad should cover that. I’m not satisfied and this device is complete trash. please do not waste your money. When I picked it up from geek squad the first time, I was told the OS was not the best. I was not aware of that and that was my mistake thinking more expensive equates to better quality.

This simple portable computer is all you need for work, school or travel. The set up was easy. Its light weight and can fit perfectly in your handbag or backpack. I highly recommend.

Speed is lacking but you get what you pay for. Good looking. Mouse work as good as any laptop. Screen is clear and the 2.4 lbs. makes it truly portable. I went into the store looking for a Chromebook but decided on a full PC after seeing this machine. Not sure I am a fan of Window 11, but you can't blame HP for that. Four stars is for speed, so if you have the bucks get a faster processor. But if it is a price purchase as it was for me this is a perfect machine.

You could use a external CD/DVD drive to load software, but because this computer runs windows in "S Mode" you can only load apps that are available in the Windows Store.
