Overall, great game!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoyed playing this game, I only wish that it was a bit longer. The story was good and definitely had good twists and turns, keeping me at the edge of my controller. The decisions from each character definitely follow you throughout the game. The only thing I would have done different is explain the beginning of the game a little more, while allowing you to play some of the first characters story, while making meaningful decisions that impacted the main characters journey. Overall, great game, amazing story, and an awesome play for the price!

Their best since until dawn
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always enjoy this series of games dating back to Until Dawn. This game is very good and may be my favorite in the series. The story is good, and the number and impact of your choices is great to see. It can be played solo or with others as a movie night where you can take turns with friends making the choices for your characters. The graphics on the ps5 version are very good too. Many different outcomes to the story of a marine squad in Iraq stumbling into a paranormal adventure. Once you see one ending you can go back via chapter select to try a different choice and see how it plays out instead. There are also difficulty settings, which as far as i can tell only impact quick time events. Overall it is very solid if you like story driven games. The gameplay is mostly making choices, walking, quick time events and searching for clues in items like journals. It isn't a "scary" game in my opinion, but the supernatural elements are well done. If you're on the fence just buy it, it is good.

Good series of games
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed this series of games. They have a great story and I love investigating to solve the mysteries which exist within the game. I know some people think that it is kind of slow but I find it very entertaining.

Best in the Dark Pictures series.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a fan of Until Dawn and thought Man of Medan and Little Hope were a let down, well I can say that this game is great. The story is good, could be better but the characters are likable and it is better the the first two in the Dark Pictures series. The gameplay movement with the camera is updated and better! If your a trophie hunter you would definitely have some fun with this one.

Fun experience

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, in a majority of scenes, the graphics are Incredible, extremely realistic. Story is great, but I would not call this game a Horror game, its more of a drama and suspenseful story. If the Graphics were consistent with realism this would score a 5 star. Regardless, I like how the future of graphics is looking. Eventually they will look like you are playing with characters in a movie and not be able to tell its computer animation.

A Decent Addition to the Dark Pictures Anthology
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a huge fan of the Dark Pictures series. My love started with Until Dawn on PS4. This is a choose-your-own-adventure type game and is very story driven. You basically control a group of characters, switching between them at different points in the story. The main goal being getting all the characters to survive a horror movie-like adventure. This game's story centers around some soldiers being trapped underground and fighting off ancient zombie/vampire type creatures. You must find a way out of the endless caves while avoiding being bitten, infected or eaten alive. The game is not super action-filled all the time. You walk around looking for clues and making your way through the spooky environments. Every so often there will be quick-time based combat events who's success is crucial to keeping your characters alive. Overall, it might not be a game for everyone. Its somewhat short, maybe 6 - 10 hours. But lots of replayability due to different endings and scenarios. But if you like horror games or story-driven, choose-your-own-adventures, you should definitely check it out.
