- A: 1.Before you attack to devise check that you have moved the slider completely open, you’ll hear a snap sound. 2.Attach to your device. It will take almost a minute or 2 for some devices to recognize the flash drive, normally I attach to my device and right away without pause I open File Explorer formally Windows Explorer, I navigate to folder / files I want to back up and before I know it my device has recognized the flash drive and I see it added in File Explorer as D: drive, you might see a different letter.
- A: Figured out a better way to get these @#$!& things closed ... stand them on a solid surface (with the connector down), and push the plastic slider down. Requires quite a little force, and be careful not to bend the metal connector. Whoever designed these obviously never had to use them!
- A: Fat 32 format is the default for these modules, you can reformat 2 other ways. My car media player will play whatever music and video files i copy to these drives in any folder or format (wmv,mp3,mp4,mpeg,avi just to list a few).

A: Plug it into the USB port on the front of the radio. As for specifics that’s between you and your radio.- A: Yes. You may have to change some bios settings depending on your system but I used these as win 10 drives to reformat.

A: I will depend on the size of each picture but if your pics average 2mb each a 32gb flash drive will hold around 14,000 pictures.
