This lens is great for entry level photographer. I paired this lens with an a6000 and when matched with some good lighting it works wonders. Main complaints are the slow auto focus, loud mechanics, and plastic body. Event photography/video look great. Also this is a fixed lens does not zoom so you will need to get active to get that shot.

Clear, crisp, and handy!!! Nice Lens especially for my Sony a6500. Opens it up to the equivalent of a 50mm on a full frame camera. Nice addition to our photography business!!

This is my second set of prime lens from Tamron and it does a really good job capturing sharp images. I love the macro capability, autofocus is quick enough despite how noisy it gets. Overall, this lens is a must buy.

I wanted a 35 mm lens for my Sony A7 II, so when Tamron 35mm F2.8 went on sale, I decided to purchase it based on the good reviews that I had read about this lens. after a few weeks of shooting with this lens, I am impressed with the picture quality. The only minor draw back is the focusing motor noise; otherwise I strongly recommend this lens.
A:Basically NO, unless YOU can design and build your own lens mount adapter (but be warned, the Sony E mount is for mirrorless cameras, while the Canon 6D mark ii is not a mirrorless camera).
A:I have found that the 28 70 takes a lil getting use to , ive had to find the sweat spot out of everyones AUTO setting and set in priority and have to do little work at all in post production.
