I used these's for my garage door... the notification work great...
I did notice when it did a app update on my Android phone the notifications stop...
Thankfully I was able to back to the previous app version with my Android phone and disable AUTO update for the Geeni app..

Horrible products and even worse customer service. I’m fully invested in their products. I just had one minor issue about batteries on these door sensors. And how when I bought them a month ago, the batteries were almost dead then. Now they are completely dead. When I asked for a fair resolve (sending brand new batteries). I was laughed at. He said they must have went dead while sitting in their warehouse. Geenis warehouse. How is that a two year battery life? Honestly I’d be ok with just one year. But to be sold mostly dead batteries, I have to say they should have fixed it for a few bucks to make it right with the customer. Oh and the other products are iffy too but good luck with customer service.

Very easy to use you just download the geeni app you click sensors you put them in the windows then your all set and running works very good.

I hate it! And the app is up to date but it won't hook to my phone. Something with the WiFi . Anyway don't buy it because the thing broke and the lever makes it impossible to open so you can reset it
