A: Yes, this amplifier utilizes Class D circuitry for efficient and reliable power handling.- A: I wouldn't recommend it. At 4ohm this amp is only pushing 150 watts. I actually had the same set up. I upgraded to a 1ohm set up and it makes a world of difference. Personally, I would recommend the Kicker CX 800.1 amp because, at 4ohms, you will be able to get the full 300watts that your speaker is rated for.

A: I currently have this running a DVC Kicker comp VR 10” as a 1ohm load and per the specs on the amp is 1ohm stable making it safe to run a 1ohm load. The VR has 2 2ohm voice coils so it works well and is a great pairing.
