Rotor Riot - RR1800A Controller for Android devices - Black

This controller was purchased in late January, so any product revisions after that aren't pertinent to this review. If you're in the market for a well built gaming controller for a smartphone, this one seems to fit the bill. Designed to plug into your phone's type C USB port, it comes in two parts: a bracket to hold your phone, and the connective cord itself, which you can plug into your phone with or without the bracket. Most newer smartphones will probably support this controller, but before purchase make sure you know what port your phone has. If a game has controller support you should be able to plug this one in and play away! The joysticks are fair for a smaller controller, and the size is smaller than a standard console controller, but it does have bumpers+rockers for L and R configurations, and a select-start type setup on the front. The D pad is very nice, and though it doesn't have a flat panel between cardinal directions like console controllers you do still have the ability for 8-way control with it. Clean the joysticks regularly to avoid the flaking problem most controllers with this type of material covering the sticks have.

This controller comes with its own "game store" and may not be compatible with all games. Restrictions plenty and function bans in certain game modes depending the game system and its game event rules. (i.e - Call of duty).

I'm a mobile gamer by heart. I usually use an xbox one controller but the lag was bugging me. So I picked up this bad boy in Hope's to get rid of that. Low and behold, it does exactly that. The shape is somewhat similar to an xbox controller so that was a plus. All the buttons are solid to the press, and it holds my Note 9 with ease. I'd reccomend this to anyone looking to make mobile gaming easier. 4 stars only because it is slightly small for my hands. If you're okay with that you should get this controller

So far so good. It may not be obvious but it connects to phone via USB-C cable, not wirelessly. Been using it for Asphalt 8 and 9. The holder barely fits my phone, which is large with the protector on, so if your phone is very large there's a chance it won't fit.

Works like a charm but doesn't agree with my phonecase. I have to take the case off but it fits snug in the controller so I'm not afraid of dropping it.

Don't work for C.O.D mobil. I wish I have read the review before I buy.

The hard connect to type c phones or tablets no need for bluetooth lag. The button response is good, doesn't drain phones battery because it doesnt come with it's own power source, uses phones power.

this is a solid gaming controller that works like the one in those console system. tactile buttons, good ergonomic, and suitable weight balance. it works exactly like what you imagine. No initial setting required neither you have to install something. (There's an app, but that app is just for browsing supported games. Not for configuration, so it's optional) if you looking for something just plug-play, then this is the one. For me, it's well worth the price. It should work with any games. however, I bought it for FPS game use (shadowgun legend), and it works like a charm. one downside, is that, those rubber joystick will flake off, so I just wrapped those with sticky kitchen wrap. problem solved.
