I got it for my sister who uses it for her office purposes . The speed was really good and she particularly liked the exterior color. However she found the battery might heated too much some times . Probably might get change the battery in the warranty period if this continues . Everything else is very good.

  Thank you for choosing the Lenovo ThinkPad R580 laptop for your sister. The battery will get warm when charging. The battery may also feel warm when the workload is especially heavy while on battery power. The warmth will be evident on the bottom of the computer and in the keyboard area. If your sister feels the warmth from the battery she is experiencing is more than normal for heavy workloads or more than would be normal while charging, we recommend she take her ThinkPad in to a local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad examine the computer ASAP.

The screen is crisp and has good color rendition. The processing speed is fast, and the keyboard includes a number pad which is helpful.

Absolutely LOVE my new laptop. I needed a 9 key on the side and got exactly what I wanted. The laptop is fast and easy to use. The setup of the programs is somewhat confusing at first, but user friendly. I would definitely purchase this brand from Best Buy Arrowhead again. The guys at the computer counter were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful answering my computer illiterate questions! The only thing I wish it had was Microsoft Office already installed.

In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.
